The first postgraduate programme in Greece entitled “Technology and Quality of Olives and Olive Oil” was approved and published in the Official Gazette by the Department of Food Technology of the School of Technology of Agriculture and Food Technology and Nutrition of the TEI of Peloponnese.
This Master is the only one in the specific subject nationally and is expected to attract public interest, according to professor Giorgos Zakynthinos.
The Postgraduate Programme is addressed mainly, but not exclusively, to graduates of the Departments of Agriculture, Department of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technologists, Agricultural Technologists, Economics, Sciences and Applied Sciences of the AgriFood Sector of Higher Education Institutes in Greece or recognized institutes abroad.
It is expected to begin in the first semester of 2018 and it will last three semesters, the third of which is the elaboration of the Master.
